About Us

Marlene’s career in human resources has spanned over 30 years. Her roles in the public sector (local and central government), not for profit and commercial organisations, include successful human resources management roles in Birmingham City Council and London Borough of Croydon.

Roles that Marlene has held in the Crown Prosecution Service include a Human Resources Business Partner, Employment Strategy Manager and the Employment Policy lead within the Public Accountability and Inclusion Directorate.

Current roles include a management consultancy service to a commercial railway engineering entity.

As an executive coach, mentor and accredited workplace mediator, Marlene is able to share her experiences and enable effective people management outcomes in organisations. Her work is underpinned by her ongoing commitment to working effectively with managers to enable them to maximise staff and organisational performance. This includes promoting fairness in Employment and combining this interest with various human resources management roles.

Marlene is also a member of the Executive Committee of the South London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). As the Croydon group lead, she organises development opportunities for members.
